LifeKeys
Who am I?
Why am I here?
What do I do best?
The truths about who you are, why you're here, and what you do best can help you find personal
pathways to fulfilling work, activities, and opportunities for service. We believe that:
LifeKeys is a process to help you uncover your gifts, personality, values and passions-the person that God meant you to be. You can find no path more fulfilling than the one that uses your unique gifts as God intended.
This summer we will have intentional time devoted to identification of our gifts and talents, what we are naturally good at! Later in the summer there will be a LifeKeys workshop held August 29, which will explore more deeply our personality, values, passions and spiritual gifts. All these things work together to impact how we can serve God with joy!
This emphasis on personal stewardship of time and talent will kick off on Pentecost Sunday, May 31, when we will have 100 copies of the book, StrengthsFinder 2.0, by Tom Rath, available for interested members in the narthex after worship. Each book has an access code for an on-line personal strengths assessment and guide. This will begin the process of identifying some of your strengths. If you take a book, we also ask that you also attend the LifeKeys retreat on Saturday August 29 to get the rest of the pieces to the puzzle that makes you a unique creation of God! On Sunday September 13, we will celebrate our gifts for ministry and find ways our gifts can be used in the ministries of Faith Presbyterian Church.
The books and gift identification process are a part of the Life Together grant initiative and augment ways that we can "Weave a Web of Care", by helping each other with the common goal of building up the body of Christ.
Please consider joining us for our next LifeKeys workshop/retreat on Saturday, August 29. This will follow other exciting gift identification opportunities unfolding this summer at Faith!
