Our Life Together grant from the Indianapolis Center for Congregations is in the process of being implemented this year. Some projects have been completed and others are in progress or yet to begin. For example:

Camp Faith Family Overnight in June was a successful evening together, in spite of the overnight camping being cancelled due to severe storms.

The Bike Rodeo drew some children from the community as did Camp Faith. The Youth Room renovation has been completed and the space is being enjoyed by the youth, as well as other groups for meeting space and summer mission groups passing through Indy.

The Community Leader Lunch this year brought a new group of people together to share hopes and concerns for our neighborhood.

The Easter banners added beauty and color to the Easter season and have generated new interest in our worship space enhancements.

The sanctuary computer and sound board upgrades are still in progress.

The organ memory key has made life easier for our organist.

Our Director of Music and Assistant Music Director were able to attend the Montreat Worship Conference and experienced respite and renewal, while other Faith members attending the Midnight Oil Worship Conference, returning with new ideas. Here's what Jim Crismore had to say about Montreat:

Head (Director of Choral Studies at the University of Delaware) as a part of the 400-member adult choir. I learned new conducting and rehearsal techniques from Dr. Paul Weber and Dr. Florence Jowers (Professor of Church Music, and Associate Professor of Music and College Organist at Lenoir-Rhyne University ). I participated in large and small ensembles on both violin and guitar, and was solo violinist for three choral pieces. I participated in a "Steel Drum" band, performing a calypso piece for a congregational hymn. The fellowship was outstanding. The worship experiences were very exciting and fulfilling. I enjoyed the conference greatly! The Montreat Conference on Worship and Music was an outstanding experience for me. I was able to learn rehearsal techniques from Dr. Paul
