Worship and Spiritual Life
Worship and Spiritual Life is one of the main components of any church. Faith Presbyterian Church is fortunate to have a team of individuals who oversee all services of worship and promote a growing spirituality among the members and visitors of our congregation. Whether you want to join the team in overseeing the elements of worship, or be an active participant in the worship activity itself, there is always a place for you in worship at Faith Presbyterian. Two Services Each Sunday offer opportunities to get involved and serve our Lord: The Dawn:
Our 9 a.m. contemporary service features a live band, complete audio/video experience, a message that is relevant in today’s world and a relaxed atmosphere where jeans are accepted and coffee is served. Worship includes opportunities for persons to:
Traditional Service:
Our 11 a.m. traditional service features the choir and pipe organ, traditional hymns and confessions and a sermon. As with our 9 a.m. service, opportunites to assist with this worship service abound:
In addition to the two weekly services above, a Service of Healing is offered each month and is coordinated with the Assoc. Pastor. This special service allows persons dealing with difficult issues, trying situations or medical problems to find peace, comfort and healing. The Worship and Spiritual Life Team oversees the special services and seasons of the Christian year. Those include the Lenten Season, Holy Week, Veteran’s Day service and the season of Advent. The team welcomes anyone who wishes to assist in these special services in the life of our church. From decorating the sanctuary to purchasing the special flowers, there is a job that is right for you! Members of the Worship team also serve as wedding coordinators and memorial service coordinators when the occasion arises.
