THANK YOU THANK YOU's. Jon Hutchison has been hard at work at Faith lately. He cleaned the carpet in the nursery next to the pastor's office, and he reorganized and cleaned the office's work room. If you see Jon, please thank him for his extra time and attention to Faith.
Another thank you to GEIST NURSERY for their donation of mulch to the church playground prior to our Strawberry Festival. If you're able to patronize this local business, it would be a great way to show thanks from the church. Also, thanks to Bob Walker and Al Seifert for picking up the mulch, and Roger Chastain and Travis Kemper for helping to spread it, and everyone that helped get the weeds down and the playground looking great!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! To everyone that volunteered and performed at this year’s Strawberry Festival….the Board of Deacons says Thank You! A special thanks to Charlene Mendelsohn, Ramona Waddell, Nancy Hartmann, Lynn Boone, Al Seifert, and Ken Burns for a full day of volunteer work; the Indy Scouts of Faith for game help; and each and every blood donor (29 units on Saturday). A big “SHOUT OUT” to our shortcake bakers, kitchen help, set-up and clean-up help, ticket sellers, food servers and runners, “carnies”, “dunkees”, and musicians….Thank You for working to make this year’s Strawberry Festival a fun, entertaining, and successful event. Thanks to Bob Walker for coordinating this annual event and to all the deacons for their hard work.
Special thanks to Lynne Burns for coordinating our Baobab Blast VBS and for all our leaders that helped. We had a blast with our church kids and friends from the community. Special thanks to our Enrichment Camp Leaders who provided a wonderful experience in the afternoons this week following VBS. Kudos to Pat Rosebrock, Nathan Smith, Bob Meyer and Carol Shadle.

CONGREGATIONAL WORK DAY: We need all hands on deck! This coming Saturday, at 9am, we'll be having our Congregational Work Day. We have a great list of items to accomplish, INCLUDING OUTDOOR LAWN WORK, and more hands means we'll get more done, more quickly! Please sign up in the narthex on the center table. There's more information there also.
SUNDAYS IN JULY - ONE WORSHIP SERVICE Once again this summer, we will have one worship service at 10:00 am, during the entire month of July. This is a great opportunity to reconnect with folks and enjoy fellowship together. The Dawn Band will have the month off, but we will include contemporary and traditional songs in each service.
Musicians Wanted! While the choir takes a well-deserved break this summer, musicians are invited to sign up to enhance our worship services. Contact the church for more information. The next choir rehearsal will be 2 September, with the first presentation after the summer on 12 September. On 19 September, there will be only one service to celebrate Faith’s 50th anniversary.
SUMMER HOURS FOR THE OFFICE Through August 16th the church office will have summer hours. The office will be open from 9am to 5pm on Monday, 8am to 5pm Tuesday through Thursday and 8am to 1pm on Friday.

LET'S GO SENIORS! will tour the L.P. Greenhouse in Kennard (New Castle IN) followed by lunch at the "Back in Time Tearoom" on Wednesday, June 23rd, leaving the church parking lot at 9:30a.m. The Greenhouse features annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, container gardens, roses and water gardens - the Tearoom has a full menu to choose from. Signup on the bulletin board across from the library.

JENNY & KIM OUT OF THE OFFICE THIS WEEK Jenny Rosebrock and Kim Olson will be out of the office this week on trips with our middle school and high school youth. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to call Cindy in the church office (849-1930), your deacon, or an elder.
It is time for us to say thank you to Rev. Kim Olson for her outstanding service to us during this interim period! Kim will be with us through July 6, but we would like to give her special recognition during both worship services on June 27.
